- Complete mechanical setup & tear down (Blower Trailer, Silo, Hoses & Lances)
- Ensure electrical connections (Coordinate with customer)
- Operate and maintain unit during testing
- Schedule material shipping
Gypsum Dewatering
- Daily operations 7 -24’s 365 days a year
- Daily equipment checks over 100 points documented twice daily
- Build maintenance schedules according to manufacture & customer specifications
- Responsible for all equipment repairs & modifications, including pulling & installing basin and wet well pumps and motors needing repairs
- Assist in design and modifications to equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical problems (fix problems when possible)
- File daily reports as specified by customer
- Geo Thermo Bags (order, install & request removal of full bags)
- Pull & install pumps and motors for repairs
- Monitor gypsum density levels
- Repair or replace gypsum dewatering belts and filter
- Schedule air compressor maintenance
- Maintain building cleanliness & repairs (inside & out)
SO3 Mitigation
Sulfur trioxide (SO3) contributes to elevated opacity and a visual plume and heavily influences the performance of a coal-fired power plant and its air quality control systems. FPG can play a critical role in helping power plants function at their best and avoid clean air violations.
